Bugsculptor’s Swarmlord

As if by fate, it would seem that our resident bug fanatic has nearly finished his Swarmlord, right before GW’s official model hits the shelves. I have to say that I’m quite impressed and it really is going to make me think a bit on how I’m going to improve GW’s version. Without further adieu, here he is…

Wow that is one awesome conversion ! I like it better then the new GW release.

Thanks! I’m pretty happy with it and don’t think I need to rush out and buy the new one, which is exactly the same size as a regular tyrant!

I really like your Tyrant guard lash whips. I have been debating for months on how to do them and I think that will be the way to go. Also this swarmlord is MASSIVE!! much better then mine. Mine is good tho.

It’s a pretty practical conversion for the lash whips – only takes 20 minutes or so and it stays out the way of the model’s base frontage when you put it into assault. I have some vague future plans to convert some hive guard into much more dynamic tyrant guard in the future, but my little dogs with waggly tails will do for now.
